We witness it all the time on the street, in our environment and in the magazines: men of around 50 or 60 with a notably younger female partner. But what is it, that older men find so attractive about younger women? In general, the younger woman embodies innocence and youth for an older man, maybe even his own long-gone youth. With her, he experiences youth, vitality, new energy and liveliness. For many men a younger partner also serves as a kind of status symbol. Most of all among successful and influential men over 60, showing in public with a young and beautiful lady means acknowledgment and recognition by other men of his age and shows that he is still desirable. From a biological point of view, men who want to become a father are more likely to chose younger woman because they provide a higher chance to have healthy children and bring them up successfully. And finally, older men chose younger women for their bodies and their sex drive. A human desire and a (especially male) necessity that needs to be satisfied and kept alive, as long as a man keeps up a lively sex life he feels alive, and that is – we all have to agree to this – the best feeling in the world!
